I recently got the chance to go visit my family down in Mexico who I hadn’t seen in a couple years. My Abuelita owns a home in the rainforest of Nogalito in Puerto Vallarta. It’s a beautiful area away from the cities full of animals like jaguars, spider monkeys, etc… Growing up I believed the house to be a castle but as I got older I realized it really was not that big. It was very hot and there was an enormous amount of mosquitos in hot humid air. Every night we would see little fire flies and hear the distant howls of the spider monkeys.

Even deeper in the rainforest led tourist attraction, the zip lines. They stretched miles along the rainforest through the mountains. I got the chance to go upside down on my zip line and even met some very interesting people on my adventures. Some of the zip line passed trough an old “predators” set where they once filmed. I got to see some beautiful sights and had the time of my life.

One of my favorite days on this trip was the fishing trip I went on with my dad, some of his friends, and a few family members. The weather was stunning and we saw many beautiful creatures. We stoped at a small island to jump in the water where I came face to face with a black and White Sea snake. There was vibrant colorful fish and TONS of abolony. After about an hour we had to head back to do some actual fishing, this is where my weakness was shown. Everyone was catching these huge fish and I… Well I struggled to catch a baby tuna… Not my finest moment, but hey I did it!
On our way back after catching some large tuna and a sword fish, some dolphins came to play around the boat. They were vert cheerful and jumped a lot around, there was even babies! We saw SO MANY dolphins and a few beautiful sea turtles, And even a whale! The blue waters and clear skies that I got to enjoy with my family was such a relaxing expirence that I will never forget.
