Palm Springs ~ Escape!

I recently got the exciting chance to go to Palm Springs with four of my friends! Me and my friends Serina, Marc, and Caleb drove down together to meet up with the host of this trip our friends Kiara. We stayed at this very cute hotel that had a pool, our own room, a game room, and many fun activities! When we arrived we settled into our rooms and made a nice dinner all together excited for tomorrow’s adventures.

When morning came all we all made breakfast together (more like an early lunch) and decided to try out some of the activities at the hotel. We went to the game room and played a few games like pool, table tennis, and my Favorite, Mario Kart (who I was the reigning champion in). After some games and a quick lunch we went to the escape room. And let me tell you, it was very difficult! We had two hours to get out and find all the clues. There was so many locks and secrets doors, and Marc quite literally fell into another room when he sat down. It was based off of a 1920’s speak easy gone wrong.

We searched for numbers and clues for what felt like forever until finally we found the LAST combination to the locks and unlocked the hidden suitcase to find the prize. I had never been so frustrated as there was such strange clues that made so sense unless you thought about it till your brain hurt.

After the escape room we had a relaxing day until my friend Kiara told us we were going to have a gingerbread house making competition, us versus the boys. It got messy. Frosting and candy was EVERYWHERE, the floor the table the carpet the chairs, everywhere. We made ours colorful in hopes the judges (the grandparents) would pick ours, and we were right!

After this fun day we all watched a movie and played some cards against humanity before heading to bed.

The next day we woke up late once again and headed down town where I bought the most magnificent Spider-Man and Shama Llama Ding Dong socks at a sock store. We went to go see a movie all together and took some pictures. My friend Serina and I took some pictures on a rainbow road, note to self, drivers get angry when your laying in the road…

We tried to make a heart and as you can see, it didnt really work…

After being down town we went to play mini golf. We went to the arcade first and won a whole bunch of tickets but spent it on stupid stuff such as plastic rings and such. When mini golf came we all kinda sucked but it was fun, we accidentally skipped a bunch of holes and had to go back. No one really kept score they just played for the fun of it. After mini golf we went back and played some Mario Kart, watched another movie, and packed to leave the next day. It was a fun few days and Palm Springs was very pretty (very cold).

The car ride back we stopped at Sonics and were all a bit hyper to say the least, and were for the rest of the way home.
